Birdwatching day trip Salses-Salanque April 2023

Extensive reed beds and open agricultural land

A very extensive area of reed beds near Salses is another favourite spot for birds stopping over on migration – Purple heron, Sedge warbler and more. The open agricultural land is the haunt of Little bustard with Stone curlew hiding in the vineyards, plus a few raptors all added up to another excellent day’s birding.
